The Welsh Rugby Union has launched a nationwide education programme, to help all involved in the game to recognise and remove' players with concussion. One of the last two players to represent Wales in the War Time internationals has died in New Zealand. The former Newport, Cardiff and Pontypridd scrum half the Reverend Wynford Anthony Davies passed away in Christchurch on 5 September aged 87.
