Calling All University Students! Take Up The Challenge!

The Rugby Enterprise Academy (REA) is a unique internship for University students which are based in our premiership and championship rugby clubs. The internship is not about coaching and focuses solely on the off-field business of rugby clubs aiming to give students experience of sports related business and the modern day challenges faced by semi-professional rugby clubs. The internship will be based in the commercial, marketing, social media and events aspects of rugby business.

Created in 2012, the REA has grown in strength and appeal. Originally created to work with the 12 premiership Clubs, it was expanded to include all A-licence clubs in 2013. For the 2015/2016 season, there will be the opportunity to work with Premiership, A-license championship and Championship clubs. There are opportunities in 24 different rugby clubs. However, the REA is not limited to 24 places. We place emphasis on providing places for all students who have commitment and clear potential.

The only requirement we need of our applicants is an understanding of rugby, a willingness to create and share ideas, and are currently studying at a minimum of an undergraduate level.
