Simon Rimmer is the Wales Team Communications Manager and took up the role on a full time basis from December 2007 managing the Wales Team's Media requirements and obligations during pre-tournament training camps as well as during tournaments whilst assisting the WRU Communications Department with WRU Group media requirements out of tournament time.
Rimmer acted in the role of Wales Team Media Liaison Officer since February 2004 on a tournament by tournament by basis, his appointment as part of the Communications team now makes this a full time in-house position.
