Joined the WRU Board in 1988 and represents District B.
He is a former player for Pencoed and became secretary of the club in 1963. He has been secretary of the East District since 1976.
He studied cost accountancy after completing his National Service in 1961 and joined the British Steel Corp-oration as a departmental cost accountant.
He later became cashier of Llanwern Steelworks until his retirement in 1999.
