Wales' leading energy services provider SWALEC has extended its partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union as National Community Partner until 2015. The four year agreement will see SWALEC invest significantly to support community rugby in Wales and continue as the National Leagues and Cup, Plate and Bowl Sponsor.

SWALEC joined forces with the WRU in 2008 and has since helped transform the traditional cup format into a three-tier competition, meaning 10 teams and their supporters have had the opportunity to watch and play rugby at the iconic Millennium Stadium.

From season-to-season, SWALEC is committed to developing a sponsorship programme that rewards clubs and schools across Wales and provides a host of rugby-related benefits for its loyal customers and staff.

The partnership between SWALEC and the WRU has been a great success and the renewal agreement is testament to the strong relationship that has been established between the two organisations.
