The men of Gwent face a difficult clash against the Scottish side though with Glasgow riding high in the PRO12 table.
They may be seven points behind leaders Ulster but Gregor Townsend's team have had a brilliant season so far and recently enjoyed a thrilling Heineken Cup victory over Northampton Saints.
The Dragons will be looking for both consistency and a high level of performance as they look for a fourth consecutive win.
Evans, in particular, is looking forward to getting the chance to impress.
"It's brilliant and the fact that I am getting opportunities to play is even better," he said.
"This time last year I'd be happy to be involved in the pro side and take any game but now I am here and now I have had a chance I want to be involved in every single game."
For the clash with Glasgow, Edwards keeps an unchanged back line with Pat Leach, who enjoyed a man of the match performance last week, once again paired with youngster Jack Dixon in the centre.
There are two changes on the bench where Aaron Coundley covers the loose head and Adam Hughes provides another option in the backs.
