In total, 16 teams from all round the world will descend on Cardiff for the annual event, now in its third year.
New Zealand are aiming to retain their IRB Sevens Series crown. the current World Series leaders, have their noses in front of England and Fiji in the championship race.
The All Blacks, who are the current world champions, lead England and Fiji by 16 and 18 points. However, there are 20 tournament points to be picked up for winning each of the remaining legs of the series - Cardiff and London - and the race is well and truly on.
The sevens event will be taking place over 2 days (31 May 2003 - 1 June 2003). Where matches will start at 9.30am on Day 1 with New Zealand v Portugal.
Play will then stop at 14.38pm to allow all rugby supporters to watch the Wales v Barbarians to be played at the Millennium Stadium Kick off 3pm BOOK TICKETS ONLINE FOR THIS EVENT, play will then resume after the Barbarians match at Cardiff Arms Park.
Day 2 play will start at 11:30am, with the Finals starting at 17:45pm.
