Bees currently sit in 3rd place in their B&I Cup Pool, with still an outside chance of making it through to the knock out stages of the cup. Pontypridd, having won all five of their games, sit at the top of Pool D and are assured one of the two qualifying berths into the quarter finals.
Following Llandovery's 20 - 19 defeat on Saturday to Scottish side Ayr, both sides will be looking for a win to keep alive their chances of securing second spot in the Pool and with it a ticket into the knock out stages.
"It's a tough ask on the players coming so soon after the Bedford game, but Llandovery have just returned from a long away trip to Scotland over the weekend, so it's a level playing field for both Clubs" said Bees' Assistant Coach, Eugene Martin. "We anticipate that, particularly on home turf, they will be highly competitive in all areas, with no allowances for the fact that the game is being played on Feb 14th".
