'Bridgend have a lot of the qualities typical to Welsh rugby,' said Jean-Louis Luneau, Pau's Director of Rugby. 'They are an aggressive side and have quality players in Gareth Thomas, Dafydd James and Andy Moore.
'We have seen two of their recent games, against Newport and Pontypridd, but we are concentrating on Saturday's match and trying to win the game with as many tries as possible before we play them in Wales the following weekend.
'We will have our best team out on the pitch. Hopefully Imanol Harinordoquy, who has had a knee injury, former Wales Rugby League player Martin Pearson, Maurice Barrague, Sylvain Jonnet and David Arrieta will all be fit to play.
'We are determined to do well in the PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP. It is a very exciting competition and, with the winner of the tournament qualifying for the Heineken Cup next season, that is a huge incentive. The new formula is one of quality and that motivates us.'
