Out go Naomi Thomas with a stress fracture of the shin and Hayley Baxter with a fractured scaphoid. Both UWIC players had been earmarked to play against Australia in the opening fixture and their attacking prowess will be sorely missed.
Their replacements are Cath Foale from Saracens and Gemma Allen from Tylorstown Tigers.
