No Pontypridd players were considered because of their Parker Pen Shield final commitments but three club members Gareth Baber, Shaun James and Gareth Wyatt will come back into the Squad for the following week-ends finale at the Millennium Stadium.

Porthcawl recently received a WRU facilities grant and funding from Natwest RugbyForce in order to give their changing rooms a facelift.
