Davies said, "We have selected two squads of what we firmly believe are equal ability to give everyone a chance to stake a claim for a place in the side to face England in a Test match at the Gnoll on Sunday 27 April.
"All six of our matches will be very competitive over the next week with all teams of a very high standard so it will be a great experience for the players, a first chance to show how good they are at a higher level and for us to see which players are likely to step up to the next level.
"As always, winning is a bonus but for us it's important that we perform well in the style of rugby we want to play in Wales which is to challenge the opposition with ball in hand as much as possible. That philosophy worked well for us last year and hopefully this group of players will respond well to it too.
"Only three players - Harri Randall, Patric Lewis and Jared Rosser - were involved with the squad last year so we will be looking to them to make an impact along with other players who have been selected following good performances in the WRU Regional age grade competition."
Following tomorrow's games, the Celts will play England London on Wednesday while the Druids face England Midlands and the final day on Saturday 19 April sees the Celts play France A and the Druids play France U16, all at Wellington College.
