Last season saw Sir Gar claim the title in Cardiff but if they are to repeat that feat this season, they still have one more game to go before contemplating a place in the final. Tomorrow's game will be streamed live via the S4C website with full highlights on Rygbi Pawb at 10.30pm.
With Wales Under 18 taking on England at The Gnoll this weekend, both teams are hit by the withdrawal of a number of key players.
"It will be a big challenge without our Welsh players," said Sir Gar head coach Euros Evans. "But we're prepared to give it a go and it's a good opportunity for some of our players to make their debuts at this level and expose themselves to live televised rugby.
"It will be an excellent experience and there will be lots of positives to take if we get through. We've prepared nicely and it would be great to get another chance to challenge Cymoedd again. We beat them a few weeks ago and met in the final last year so it would be a great opportunity.
"We'd be the underdogs if we played them again but we have to worry about Gwent before that. They're a very good side and will be tough to beat."
With Sir Gar missing a number of key men such as fly half Dan Jones, Gwent will be hoping to take advantage by using flyers Kaan Keen and Taylor Dimmick in broken field.
"The boys are buzzing in training this week," said Coleg Gwent coach Matthew Jones. "We've worked hard to make the play offs, we didn't have the best of starts but we got there in the end and that's a massive achievement for the boys.
"They just can't wait to get out there now and play. Losing your international boys is never ideal but it's the same for both sides and it gives others an opportunity. When those come up you have to take them and hopefully some of our players will do that tomorrow."
