The Cardiff Blues speedster put the final nail in the English coffin with his two second half scores as Wales retained their title in some style.
Man of the match Justin Tipuric set up Cuthbert's second try with a great solo run and his effort, along with the rest of the pack was vital according to the Wales wing.
"The forwards were on fire today, they bullied England and I think we deserved the win," said Cuthbert following the 30-3 victory.
"I felt in command from the word go and it was only a matter of time before we broke through and took our chances - we were clinical.
"When the forwards were picking and going it gave us ball for the likes of George, Leigh and myself.
"I've got to give credit to them, they gave me the chances and I'm grateful I took them."
Saturday's win in front of a raucous Millennium Stadium has led the likes of Gethin Jenkins and Sam Warburton to say the experience bettered last year's Grand Slam.
Cuthbert's two scores were supplemented by the boots of Leigh Halfpenny and Dan Biggar as Wales ran riot in a superb second half performance.
And he says he agrees with Warburton's statement that the win tops last year's success.
"To come out on top and to win by 30 points to three against an England team which won every game in the Six Nations - it's a great feeling," he added.
"It was incredible, especially the last 10 minutes when we knew we'd won the game. It was scrum after scrum and it was such a great feeling.
"The boys were shouting to the crowd and they were getting involved and when the whistle went it was an unbelievable feeling. I thought last year would be hard to better but this year definitely has."
Wales had only led 9-3 at the break, Halfpenny kicking three penalties with Owen Farrell responding for England.
But a superb second half performance saw Wales pull clear with Cuthbert doing most of the damage.
Biggar's drop goal and late penalty rubbed salt in the wound and sealed Wales' second Six Nations title in successive years.
"We had two or three chances and the drop goal secured it. I can't explain the feeling, it still hasn't sunk in," Cuthbert added.
"We kept ourselves to ourselves and we knew what we could do. We delivered on the day and we deserve to be champions."
