The Cardiff Blue has led Wales to victories over Ireland, France and Itlay but knows Scotland have the ability to end their unbeaten run.
"We've done some analysis on them. They've got a couple of very good players who played sevens last year but we're focusing on a game plan that we think will work," said Jenkins.
"It will be a tough game - they've had some good results against Ireland and Italy and they just came unstuck against England. We need to be firing on all cylinders to get a result."
Although Wales are able to welcome back the likes of Harry Robinson, Ieuan Jones and Steffan Hughes into their side, Friday's opposition have a number of players who have played regional rugby themselves.
Jenkins added: "A lot has been said about our regional boys coming back but they've got some quality players themselves. Hopefully we can get a result but it's going to be a tough one up in Scotland."
After playing and impressing in regional rugby, some new faces come back into what is already a strong Wales squad.
"The regional players have been here all the way through so they've fitted straight back into the squad," said Jenkins.
"I'm sure they'll all be getting some game time at the weekend.
"Whenever a team is successful, as we have been so far, you want to be involved and I'm sure they'll be chomping at the bit to do that and perform well for us."
Wales will be hoping to give the likes of Robinson and Cory Allen plenty of space to work with in Inverness. Monsoon-like conditions in Italy prevented Wales from playing any running rugby and Jenkins wants to see his backs see more of the ball, if conditions allow.
"We've been trying to play some rugby lately but the weather has dictated that we can't and forced us to stick to a tighter game plan," he said.
"We're hoping it's going to be dry in Scotland and hopefully our backs will get the chance to show what they can do - they haven't really had that so far."
