Second placed Aberavon could not take full advantage of Llandovery's slip up, only managing a draw against Bridgend. Luke Morgan's 10th try of the season helped Bridgend come back from a seven point deficit at half-time to secure the draw.
Tom Williams' record equalling six tries helped Cardiff on their way to a comfortable victory over bottom side Tonmawr. Centre Cory Allen and winger Mathew John got Cardiff's two other tries in their impressive 50-11 win.
A late try from scrum half Sean Hopkins ensured victory for Llanelli in their game against Pontypridd. The match was tied 10 each at half-time, but it was Llanelli's clinical finishing after the break that helped them to a 24-16 victory.
Neath put last week's loss against Munster A behind them to gain a bonus point win over Bedwas and rise to third in the table. Full back Alec Jenkins and winger Kevin James contributed a try each for the Welsh All Blacks
A superb performance from fly-half Sam Davies inspired Swansea's 21-16 victory over Newport. Davies got 16 points in total with full back James Dixon completing Swansea's scoring.
Pontypool remain second-last after losing 26-6 to Carmarthen Quins. Tries from No 8 Craig Everett and flanker Ellis Lloyd helped Quins on their way to a bonus point win.
