They could not close the gap on Penallta though who recorded a convincing 44-15 bonus point victory of their own at lowly Pill Harriers.

It was wins all round at the top as Abergavenny, Gardiffaith and Brynmawr overpowered Rhymney, Croesyceiliog and Nelson respectively.
Tom McPherson and Stuart Davies both crossed for braces in Abergavenny's 41-10 hammering of Rhymney and Brynmawr had little problem collecting the full five points in their 34-10 triumph over Nelson. Garndiffaith found life a lot tougher in their tie with Croesy, however, and it was outside half Darren Pearce who eventually saw his side home with a try, two conversions and two drop goals in a 25-17 win.
Gwernyfed look destined to take the Division Four East title as Danny Skyrme slotted a penalty with the last kick of the game to edge past second placed Abertillery 16-15. After leading 13-10 at the interval, the visitors found themselves 15-13 behind with seconds remaining but when Skyrme got his chance he made no mistake in a win that puts his side 12 points clear at the top.
Elsewhere on a day of tight encounters, Brynithel pipped Monmouth 11-10, Nantyglo beat Risca 17-16 and Rhiwbina denied Talywain a rare win as they came through 12-10.
