Both have been ruled out of facing Ireland in Cardiff on Sunday however Gavin Henson has been passed fit to play should he make the twenty-two man squad selection. Henson limped off the field after fifty-two minutes following his appearance at full back for the Ospreys against Ulster on Saturday.
Wales Team Physiotherapist Mark Davies said: "Gavin took a knock but the injury has not been a problem and he will play a full part in training this week. However, Tom Shanklin has, unfortunately, not recovered from his thigh strain.
"Gareth Delve injured his ankle playing for Bath at the weekend. There's some swelling and he is ruled out of selection for Sunday, however he will be aiming to be back in training next week."
Wales boss Gareth Jenkins is also studying the progress of Shane Williams and Mark Jones who could both make surprise returns from injury at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday. Neither has undergone contact training with the Wales Squad and have been given until Thursday to prove their fitness after Jenkins delayed yesterday's team announcement for seventy-two hours.
Davies added: "Mark Jones took part in skills training but no contact work. Shane is undergoing a personal rehabilitation programme and both will be looking to take part in full contact training before Sunday's game."
