"I feel I can further develop my rugby career by coming to the region. A number of friends of mine play here which is another reason for me joining as was the friendly atmosphere which greeted me from everyone at the Dragons."
Centre Gomer-Davies is the second player to join the Dragons from a Guinness Premiership side following the signing of scrum half Andy Williams from Bath.
Head Coach Paul Turner commented that the signing of a young up-and-coming centre will add to the squad in a beneficial way and strengthen the Dragons squad.
He said, "We are pleased to announce that Rhodri Gomer-Davies has joined the squad and welcome another player of Welsh qualification back into Welsh rugby. He is a very ambitious and talented player and at just 24 years of age he has a bright future ahead of him and we look forward to him fulfilling his potential with us."
Gomer-Davies will link up with the Dragons squad for pre-season training in June.
