With so many of the senior players out on international duty, the opportunity falls to the younger members of the squads. Included in the Ospreys side is Ciaran Ruddock, whilst the outstanding young wing Richard Di Filippo is named in the Scarlets starting line up.

The game was scheduled for Narberth, but has now been switched to Stradey Park.
