The first of Tylorstown's six tries came from outside half Naomi Thomas, who ghosted her way over the line to cross under the posts. Further first half tries were scored by flanker Jamie Kift and inside centre Clare Flowers, whose angles of running were mesmerising at times.
The second half started at a frantic pace with the water-girls being kept very busy. Forwards Laura Kelland, Kristy Thomas and Jayne Edwards started to dominate play. Ten minutes into the second half, the result was confirmed with the popular Lulu Daniels bursting through two tackles and showing good pace to out-run the defence to score under the posts. Further tries were score by Thomas and Flowers to take the final score to 36-0.
Special thanks and credit must go to Thomas, Flowers and Kift who turned up and played, although battered and bruised after helping Wales beat the World cup 4th seeds Canada only 24 hours earlier.
Tylorstown's players, coaches and supporters are now looking forward to the ladies second ever National cup final. The cup final is to be played at a venue to be confirmed on Sunday 21st May. Your support on the day would be very much appreciated.
