The logo of the UK's largest tool and equipment hire chain will appear on the players' shirts for all Magners League, Heineken Cup and EDF Energy Cup matches for a second season.
The deal follows Cardiff Blues' successful 2005/06 season, which saw the club earn top Welsh seeding in the Heineken Cup, and underlines HSS' commitment to strengthening its brand awareness through high profile sports sponsorship.
"We are delighted to be able to extend our relationship with one of the most forward thinking and leading rugby clubs in Europe and to support such a major sporting icon in Wales," explained Jon Overman, HSS Regional Manager for Wales.
"As for any business it is essential for us to generate brand awareness, identity and affinity with potential customers and the HSS logo emblazoned on the sleeve of the Cardiff Blues shirt does just that."
Rugby fans tuning in to televised home matches from Cardiff Arms Park should also catch sight of the HSS branding on the perimeter advertising boards.
"We are delighted that such a high profile company as HSS has decided to extend its commitment to the Blues," said Cardiff Blues Chief Executive Robert Norster. "The partnership between Cardiff Blues and HSS Hire is one of mutual benefit."
To celebrate the new deal, HSS Hire sponsored the Cardiff Blues' opening match of the season against European Cup champions Munster at Cardiff Arms Park. The Blues ran out winners 22-13 and HSS Product Director David Davies was on hand to present Robert Sidoli with the Man of the Match Award.
