Wing Gemma Williams opened the scoring after five minutes, with Lucy Harris adding her name to the scoresheet twice, shortly after. Cath Charlton looked certain to score midway through the half, but was denied by a superb try-saving tackle by Wales U19 Mared Evans, who showed her talent in bounds.
Llandaff North took full advantage of a scrum five, with Emma Phillips picking up and diving over for five points. Paula Mullen converted to put them 24 points ahead. Strong combining in the backline of Paula Mullen, Abby King and Vicci McGrath created another try, while Centre Jess Kidley took a slice of the action with some silky running through the Caernarfon defence. Mullen's boots converted both tries to make a half-time score of 38-0.
After the break, Abby King claimed a try and Emma Phillips bagged her second. The talented Llandaff North backs used smooth handling to put Gemma Williams over for a brace, while Jess Kidley followed suit moments later.
Despite constant pressure from Llandaff North, Caernarfon made some searing breaks, with Captain Kate Jones leading by example. Despite the scoreline, they looked sharp in defence on several occasions, with both Manon Williams and Fflur Jones making try-saving tackles.
