Wales stepped up their defence with some notable tackling from Claire Mattey and Philippa Tuttiet. This held off the constant English attack, until a penalty try decision was awarded midway through the half. The visitors added a further 14 points shortly before half-time through Heather Fisher and Ellen Small tries and Alice Richardson's conversions. Jane Leonard ran in a further three tries during the second half, with Natasha Fitt crossing for one.
Wales Development now look forward to a fixture against a touring South Africa side at UWIC on Tuesday 26th April.
