At an initial review of the cases brought to the attention of the WRU, it was decided that no further action will be taken against ten clubs and organisations who have been extremely helpful in supporting the WRU in its efforts to rid Welsh rugby of this practice. These are: Llandudno, Gorseinon, Resolven, Cwmgwrach, Caldicot, Narberth, Rhydyfelin, Welsh Districts, Brecon and Trebanos.
Millennium Stadium chief executive Paul Sergeant said, "This issue is something we intend to remain tough on indefinitely. The structures are in place to pin-point those who disregard the ticket policy and already we have isolated those who have offended and now action will be taken.
"Loyal fans and supporters buy tickets in good faith at face value and it is imperative that those tickets remain within the hands of the intended recipients of the tickets" he added.
Sergeant said "A number of clubs have been contacted regarding their allocation and a number of these have been extremely helpful in locating specific tickets that have gone on sale on website auction sites.
"Those who have not assisted in finding the culprits will be asked to present their facts to the review panel at a hearing at the end of the month."
