The Old Parish ran in 21 tries with Grant Epton grabbing six to take him to 30 in 29 matches, while Llanharan are now nine points behind but have three games in hand and try-count could well decide the title.
The margin of tries is 28 in Maesteg's favour, but Bonymaen held the Dairymen out for 70 minutes at Parc Mawr, before the visitors won 39-23 with six tries resulting and now the clubs meet again on Saturday at Llanharan.

Brynmawr beat Blackwood 27-10 and Carmarthen Athletic came from behind to win 39-29 at Whitland, helped by the excellent kicking by fly half Julian Howells.
