In the East, Bargoed gained the title after winning at Chepstow, because nearest rivals Blaina crashed out 24-21 at Monmouth. St Peter's could even overtake Blaina after winning by 65-12 in their derby match against St Joseph's at Blackweir.
South-East leaders are Abercwmboi after they won 16-3 at Cefn Coed and rivals Pontycymmer fell by 6-3 at Bedlinog, where two penalty goals by Richard Heath sealed the win. Fairwater are making a late effort however and had a narrow win at Cowbridge by 29-27.
There was a tremendous scrap in the South-West where Taibach take the lead after beating previous leaders Cwmgors 17-12 and Briton Ferry's 34-8 win over Cefn Cribbwr means that they draw level with Cwmgors on 40 points, two behind Taibach.
The battle for leadership in the West carries right to the bitter end as Llanelli Wanderers, who beat Milford Haven 32-10; Pembroke Dock Quins, 80-5 winners over Bynea and Loughor, who beat Tycroes 65-0, are all on 45 points.
Spare a thought for Bynea, who have already completed their 22 matches. They have lost 21 and drawn one, but at least they always competed.
