Thousands of tickets have already been sold for Friday's School Party which will include fairground rides, dodgems, a 47 metre-long bar and live music throughout the night. The Stadium has also brought in extra heating systems so party goers can enjoy the fun without feeling the chill of the winter evening. The fun will start at 8pm and go on until 3am.
Millennium Stadium General Manager Paul Sergeant said, "This is a great time of year for a party - and the biggest party in Wales will be had at the Millennium Stadium on Friday night. However, we have all been moved to the core at what has taken place over the last few days in Asia and we want to do what we can to help. Any profit we make from the party on Friday night will go to the British Red Cross' disaster fund along with the takings from a bucket collection we will make at the Stadium School Party itself."
To support the cause, the last few tickets can be purchased at the Millennium Stadium ticket shop on St Mary Street, open every day 9am - 5pm. Tickets cost £10.
