UWIC's young students moved to the top of Division One in style as they rocked Carmarthen Athletic at Cyncoed by 37-22 and instead of their backs dominating, it was a forward effort to gain all four tries.
Scotland Under-21 cap Peter Wilmshurst-Smith, Martin Webdale, Craig Morris and Jamie Stephens went over with Rhys Edwards kicking five goals and both Nathan Hopkins and Roger Davies dropping goals, while Chris Harries, Geraint Jones and Aled Thomas crossed for Athletic tries.
