The Millennium Stadium is rolling out the red carpet, opening its turn-styles and throwing up a giant screen to welcome all fans who can't make it to Manchester, to watch the match live in their national ground and be entertained from 1.45pm with a full range of family fun Kicking off at 2.00pm.
Over 3,000 fans turned up to support Wales at the Millennium Stadium for their Euro 2004 visit to Russia and Stadium bosses are hoping for a repeat of that attendance for this family day out, which will include the screening of the game.
Fans in Wales can present a united front and create the ultimate party atmosphere to back Hughes, Ryan Giggs, Gary Speed, John Hartson and co as they take on Sven's men, without setting foot into 'auld enemy' territory for just £2 an Adult ticket and £1 for Children.
Family Fun will be the order of the day with a 'Penalty Shout Out' competition on the Millennium Stadium pitch featuring celebrity guests! Selected fans can also enter the hallowed turf for the Stadium's very own 'Crossbar Challenge' and 'Free Kick' competition.
Together with that amazing offer the home of football has teamed up with Carling to offer the first 1000 adults through the gates a free pint, and for the first 1000 children Nestle will provide a free Yorkie bar. The inflatable big screen in use, at 16 metres or 48 feet across, is probably more than ten the size of those in your local pub, and that's in addition to the two big screens already in place at the ground. The big screen will be the largest outdoor screen ever seen in Wales; it was recently used in Belgrade for the premier of Terminator 3 and is up to 10 times the size of screens likely to be used in your local public house.
Fans wishing to join in the fun and back Hughes' side from the comfort of the Principality will be offered a full range of drink and food at High Street prices from outlets on site. Because of the low price of tickets there is no telephone hotline service, but fans wishing to take advantage of this wonderful Millennium Stadium offer can purchase tickets at the ground at tonight's Wales v Northern Ireland (Wed 08 September 2004) World Cup Qualification match or call in at the Stadium Ticket Office at 98 St Mary Street from 9am onwards tomorrow morning (Thurs 09 September 2004).
