It is the day for new faces in this division as Fleur de Lys, Builth Wells and Tonmawr all make their debuts at this level.
Fleur face a hard task away to Carmarthen Athletic; Builth Wells have it
just as tough at Narberth, but Tonmawr entertain Glamorgan Wanderers, a club who are full of new young faces. A fourth new club, Bridgend Athletic, are the bye team this week.
Game of the day could be at Cyncoed Road in Cardiff, where the UWIC students face Bonymaen in a match that could bring a multidude of points in a fast-flowing match.
Division 2.
In the East there will be a renewal of fixtures for relegated clubs Rumney and Tredegar at Riverside Park that should produce a close affair while Treorchy will be appearing for the first-ever occasion at the Newport Civil Service ground against Newport Saracens, who are now based there.
West fixtures see the relegated Tondu at home to Dunvant; a powerful-looking Waunarlwydd team travelling to Pontyberem and new coach Emyr Lewis in charge of Felinfoel, who are at home to Banwen.
