The Countdown is on to a Kevin Keegan Kick Off in Cardiff. The former England Football Manager is on his way to the home of Welsh Rugby.
Preparations are underway to host the Millennium Stadium's very first UEFA Cup football match following the success of the FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Euro 2004 qualifiers.
TNS v Manchester City will see the teams from Cardiff and Manchester face off in a winner takes all second leg qualifying tie where the prize is a place in the first round of one of Europe's most prestigious football competitions.
TNS will be able to test their mettle against the big guns of the Premiership as they follow their pre-season friendly with Premiership entertainers Everton at Treflan by facing the all-out attacking style football of Kevin Keegan's Man City at the stadium.
Among the players likely to be included in the line-up for Manchester City are former Anfield favourite Robbie Fowler who scored in the Millennium Stadium during Liverpool's 2001 Worthington Cup win, French International star striker Nicolas Anelka who already has a UEFA Champions League Medal in his trophy cabinet; and new signing Trevor Sinclair.
Football of the highest calibre will be on display for fans of both sides.
