Amos made his international debut in the 20013 autumn campaign, the same year that he also featured for Wales U20 in the Six Nations Championship.
After coming through the Dragons academy, the versatile back became the youngest ever regional player, making his debut against Wasps in the LV= Cup aged just 17 years and 28 days.
Amos went on to become the youngest starting player in the PRO12, when he started for the Dragons against the Ospreys in April 2012.
Amos was named in Wales 34-man 2014 Dove Men Series squad however he was ruled out of the tournament after suffering an injury against England at Twickenham.
His injury woes continued in the 2015 Rugby World Cup where he dislocated a shoulder against England at Twickenham to have his campaign ended prematurely.
