The former Wales U20 centre signed a National Dual Contract with the WRU and the Dragons on 26 December 2014.

Morgan was named in the Possibles side for the Wales Senior Trial in May 2014 and his performance earnt him a place in Warren Gatland's 32-man squad to tour South Africa.

The Newport Gwent Dragons centre was called up as a replacement for Warren Gatland's 2015 Rugby World Cup squad following an injury to Cory Allen, whose hat-trick against Uruguay was one of the highlights in Wales' 2015 RWC opener.

Morgan made his Test debut on 8 August 2015, in the 35-21 defeat against Ireland at the Millennium Stadium.
