Newcastle Emlyn product Josh Turnbull has come through the Scarlets Academy system.
He has represented Wales at U18 and U19 levels; he has participated in the last two IRB U19 World Championship, scoring a try against Scotland in 2006 and reprentting his country in all five of Wales's games in the 2006/2007 season, including the Division A semi-final against New Zealand.
A big ball carrying forward, Turnbull can play either in the back row, where he prefers to play on the blindside flanker, or in the second row.
