The UWIC student forced her way into the World Cup squad after impressing the coaching panel in the Regional Championship.
The front rower is a good mover, as her UK A President/Laurel/Gold award for dancing would testify while in 2008 she won the Best Amateur Actress Award in the National Eisteddfod.
After coming on as a replacement, Lowri scored on her debut in Wales's opening World Cup pool game defeat to Australia in the 2010 World Cup.
