The North Walian is a talented sports person, having played footbal in the Wales Under 14s squad and tennis for North Wales (she was once sponsored by Cliff Richard to play tennis).

She has played for Wales at Under 16s, U19s and U20s level and had to recover from a series of injuries before returning to the senior squad in 2010 - where she scored as a replacement against Scotland with her second touch of the ball.
