Ifan, along with Rhys Shellard and Richie Pugh, is now one of the longest serving players in the Wales Sevens squad, having represented Wales for the first time in Hong Kong in 2009.

Born and bred in Aberystwyth, Evans came through the Youth system at the Mid Wales club before moving on to Llandovery. He is now based with Principality Premiership club, Newport.
