Jamie is the younger brother of Scarlets and Wales midfielder Jonathan Davies. He made his debut for Wales Sevens at the Gold Coast Sevens in 2012 where he appeared in all five games before Wales were knocked out of the Bowl at the semi-final stage by Spain.

He was a standout figure in the second round of the 2012 series in Dubai where he was an instrumental figure in Wales claiming the Plate against Canada in the final.
