Wilson has been boosted by the return of a trio of Wales internationals for the clash with the struggling Italians. Kristian Dacey, Scott Andrews and Alex Cuthbert have all been released back to the region and Wilson has urged his players to deliver an improved performance for the fans.
He said: "First of all we need a response from last week. Every time this season we've performed in a manner we haven't been satisfied by, the very next week we've bounced back with a good performance," said Wilson.
"Consistency has certainly been an issue for us this season, both in selection, because of the injuries we've had, and in performance. I'm looking for a performance, at home, that gives us a win and gives us and our supporters something to be more proud of than we were on the weekend.
"We had a pretty harsh and honest video analysis session off the back of the game. We spoke about a few of the areas that weren't good enough for us on the day, and we'll move onto Treviso."
Treviso have won just two games this season, but one of those came against Newport Gwent Dragons. The Blues will have to go on an unbeaten run if they are to challenge the top six, and Wilson believes they still have a chance if they win their next three games.
He added: "To make the top six is going to be struggle, and we're going to have to string together some big results.
"The top six in this league is a formidable competition. It's contains squad with huge resources and huge depth. It's plain and simple, we need to win our next three games to give ourselves a chance to finish in that top six, which is our long term goal."
