"The LV=Cup is the place where we see young players breakthrough and we are hoping our group take their opportunity with both hands. There are some youngsters who will see their first taste of top level professional rugby and what better place to do that than Welford Road and against Leicester.
"The Ospreys have developed a formidable rivalry with our English counterparts and we are all looking forward to the contest again."
Tandy's youthful approach extends to the forwards too where young lock Rhodri Hughes plays alongside captain for the evening Lloyd Peers. Arthur Ellis and Morgan Allen provide familiar faces in the back row.
"Our group have trained well and are soaking up every piece of knowledge and information we can give them and with a large contingent of our squad on international duties, it's always great to see the future of the region step-up," Tandy added.
"We are proud of our development pathway at the Ospreys and the LV=Cup competition is a really important part of our on-going development strategy.
"We want to put forward a full performance and I think the group will represent our region with pride."
