Away from home, the Dragons were pipped at the post by Edinburgh in a game they perhaps should have won. Now they face a trip to Musgrave Park to take on a Munster side smarting from defeat to Treviso last time out.
Jones brings Matthew Pewtner onto the right wing as Tom Prydie moves the left. The centre pairing of Ross Wardle and Jack Dixon stay the same after impressing against the Scarlets.
It's all change at half back with Italian outside half Kris Burton stepping into the number 10 jersey with Jason Tovey moving to the bench and young gun Jonathan Evans coming in at scrum half for Richie Rees.
Evans, who is looking forward to his first start of the season, said: "I saw all the reports about Richie and how well he played. It is a little bit of pressure on myself to follow up a performance as good as that.
"But I need to concentrate on my own game and make sure I don't make any mistakes.
"Lyn has given me the chance to prove myself to I am going to try and take it."
In the pack, the front row gets a shake up with Phil Price, Hugh Gustafson and Francisco Chaparro all starting.
Andrew Coombs leads the side from lock with young guns Sam Parry and Ieuan Jones on the bench alongside Owen Evans, Dan Way, Rob Sidoli and Adam Hughes.
Munster include Simon Zebo from the start with inspirational Irish lock Paul O'Connell among the replacements.
