Loughor are now third from bottom of the table after being overtaken by Carmarthen Athletic after their eight tries helped them to thrash winless Aberavon Quins, 56-10. Rhys Jones and scrum half Ricky Richards scored two tries each for Athletic, who had not won for a month prior to this fixture.
In other results, a hat-trick from Richard Deakin gave Cwmllynfell their sixth win in the last seven after defeating Kenfig Hill 32-20. Skewen's search for their second win of the season continues after fumbling to a 31-7 home defeat to Waunarlwydd, who now have won three in a trot.
In Division 2, Felinfoel closed the gap on current leaders Builth Wells, who didn't play at the weekend, to five points after comfortably beating Crymych 33-10. Haverfordwest were very close in collecting their first victory of the season, but succumbed to a tight 21-18 defeat to Penclawdd.
Lampeter, in Division 3, collected their first victory of the season with an 18-9 victory over Pontyberem. At the top of the division, Tenby celebrated an emphatic 53-22 victory over Milford Haven, but their seven tries were not enough to take them to the top after Amman United saw off Pontarddulais 23-11.
There was a significant result in Division 5 as Gowerton turned on the style, maintaining their 100 percent, thrashing Llangwm 88-10 at home. They scored 14 tries in the process.
