Second-place Bargoed kept up the pressure on Ebbw Vale, after a bruising 15-8 win at Narberth. Tries from Darren Humphreys and Gareth Davies and five points from Josh Prosser's boot, gave the visitors a 15-3 lead at the interval. The hosts showed character as Steve Mason dived over to secure a losing bonus-point.
Tata Steel won an exciting clash with Beddau. Tata outscored their visitors by three tries to one but could never pull clear. A Joe Casella try and 17 points from the tee for Tom Benjamin, kept Beddau in touch. Benjamin went from hero to villain, with a red card for a tip-tackle. Tata took full advantage to seal the narrowest of victories in the dying minutes.
Cardiff Met stay third after a 27-22 win at Llanharan. Pontypool's woes continued after being despatched 30-17 by Blackwood. Paul Emanuelli kicked 15 points to put the game out of Pooler's reach. Glamorgan Wanderers were drummed 39-15 by Bridgend Athletic who move into 9th. Bonymaen torpedoed Newbridge 29-17 to close the gap on 10th place Beddau.
