After a defeat to Cross Keys in the Premiership last weekend, Neath are now unable to reach the play-offs in their league campaign with their only chance of success this season being an opportunity to reach the cup final in May.
But they will have it far from easy on Saturday against current holders Cross Keys who won't give their Cup away without a fight.
Cross Keys were convincing winners at The Gnoll in their league clash last weekend but Neath coach Pat Horgan is hoping the Cup can bring about a change of fortune.
"This is a very big game for the club," he said.
"Neath have a great record in the Cup and it's a competition that we really want to do well in this season.
"We know it's going to be tough. Cross Keys showed us last week why they're in the top three and they will want to go one better this year and win a double. It's up to us to stop them.
"That's why having a big support at The Gnoll this Saturday is so important to us. We've reduced the prices of admission to the Grandstand and we would love to see it full when we run out at 2.30 on Saturday.
"It has been a difficult season for us but this is where we can do something a bit special.
"I'm sure all Neath fans have been to a Cup Final and will want to do that again. We look forward to seeing and hearing you at The Gnoll this Saturday as we start our journey to the Millennium."
