If Bedwas have been in top form of late, especially at home, they travel to Carmarthen which has been something of a bogey ground for them in recent years.
Head Coach Steve Law makes a number of changes to the side that beat Cardiff last time out.
Evergreen Deri Mattravers returns from injury to take up the No. 8 berth while Dan Preece starts at loose head prop instead of Ian George who drops to the bench.
In the backs, Law makes three changes. Ethan Davies, whose fine goal kicking paved the way for last week's win, starts at full back in place of Stuart Thomas, Dragons loanee Matthew Pewtner starts at inside centre and Josh Davies starts at scrum-half.
Bedwas chairman Mark Lewis is expecting a tough game.
"It was close between the two sides when we met on the opening day of the season," he said.
"I'd like to think we've improved considerably since then but we're taking nothing for granted."
One thing Lewis highlighted was the way this season's squad are sticking together.
"There's a really good feeling about the club at the moment and it's wonderful to see the squad gelling together off the field as well as on it."
Carmarthen will be hoping to reverse the result of their first game of the season when they lost in the closing minutes of the game due to an interception pass almost on their own line.
Steve Williams' side have trained hard throughout the week though they miss James Davies and Jason Harries who have both been selected to represent Wales in the IRB 7's series in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.
