| They continued their impressive start by clocking up a 40-0 away victory at Llanishen where on-loan Pontypridd outside half Dylan Jones contributed 20 points, including two tries. Man-of-the-match centre James Davies was a constant livewire and also claimed a try in the rout.
Penallta consolidated on their opening day victory by coming away with a bonus-point victory from Rhydyfelin. Fullback Karl Rees was again among the scorers with a try, a penalty and a conversion in the 30-18 triumph.
Prop Dean O’Brien and outside half Nicky Griffiths scored tries as Mountain Ash maintained their 100% start to the season. They won 18-12 at Pill Harriers with Griffiths also weighing in with 8 points from the boot. Touchdowns from Gary Hassel and Gary Lloyd salvaged a losing bonus point for Pill.
Abercynon owed their 19-14 home win against Builth Wells to tries from Gareth Taylor and Mark Pocock with Matthew Turner completing the scoring with three penalties to keep up with the division’s pace setters.
Elsewhere, Tredegar scored four tries in a 31-7 victory at Ynysybwl and Treherbert bounced back from last week's trouncing at the hands of Penallta with a hard-fought 33-23 win over Newport HSOB.
In Division Three East, Brynmawr owed their 27-5 win over Rhymney to a hat-trick from No.8 Steve Evans while further scores came form Matthew Penny and Sipho Nabitano. Outside half Matt Bow kicked the extras.
Garndiffaith and Croesyceiliog were other bonus point winners against Blaina and New Tredegar respectively with the highlight being a rare hat-trick from Garn loose head prop Leighton James.
There were wins elsewhere for Cwmbran at Pontypool Utd, Nelson at Senghenydd and for Abergavenny, who ran in 11 tries past hapless Pontllanfraith in a 70-0 hammering.
Gwernyfed secured a second successive win in their first season in Division Four East with a 44-7 win at Talywain while other notable successes came for Nantyglo at Brynithel, and for Machen who recovered from last week’s 50-0 reverse to claim their first win of the season at Rhiwbina.
Neil Millett and Chesney Chick crossed for three tries a-piece as Crumlin demolished RTB Ebbw Vale 87-0 in Division Five East. Other victors were Bettws, Blaenavon and Chepstow and Caldicot maintained their first week form with a bonus point win at Ynysddu.
Markham were the big winners in Division Six. They scored nine tries to crush New Panteg 62-0.
