Cardiff RFC will take on the Blues in a pre-season match this Wednesday (August 15th) with the match free to all.
Following their successful outing against Pertemps Bees last Saturday, Cardiff continue their pre-season preparations with a match against regional side Cardiff Blues at the Cardiff Arms Park on Wednesday evening (kick-off 7.15pm).

Director of Coaching Justin Burnell has named a starting line-up plus fifteen replacements and it is likely that the majority will have game time.

New assistant coach Gareth Baber, who played 16 games for the club in the mid-90s, will initially partner Craig Evans at half-back in a Blue & Blacks back division that also includes the versatile Leigh Halfpenny on the wing after a promising display by him at fullback last weekend.

Entrance to the match is free to all, with the South Terrace open and South Stand operating on an unreserved seating basis.

Cardiff RFC: Roger Davies/Andrew Hutchings; Leigh Halfpenny, Shaun James, Tristan Davies, Ryan Howells; Craig Evans, Gareth Baber; Gareth Gunter, Gary Horrigan, Darren Fenton, James Down, Damian Welch, Chris Jones, Adam Powell, Dan Franks

Replacements: Rhys James/Ryan Price, Nathan Trevett, Richard Cornock, Chris Stamatakis, Dafydd Rosser, Jevon Groves, Adam Whitney, Dan McShane, Owen Ruttley, Rhys Dyer, Gareth Davies, Richard Jones, Richard Thomas, Dan Meredith, Elgan Jones
