| Jenkins, world record points scorer and now Wales's kicking coach, has thanked the Welsh public for helping Wales to an all-important win against Argentina last Saturday and asks the Welsh fans to give the same support to the players against France on Sunday.
Jenks said, "We know we can play well at home. We beat England in our final RBS Six Nations game of the season at the Millennium Stadium in March and the Welsh fans were terrific on Saturday, giving the boys the extra boost they needed to beat Argentina.
"We are grateful to the 36,000 Welsh fans who came to support us on the weekend but we would love to see double that on Sunday.
"We know how good France are. They play an excellent style of rugby but one which suits us, with our two sides often producing high-scoring matches which are hugely entertaining to watch.
"It's important to get into a winning habit and it would be great to get another win on Sunday to set us on the right track as we go into our Rugby World Cup campaign."
Extra ticket booths to cater for demand
With over 40,000 tickets having been sold already for Sunday's clash with the Rugby World Cup hosts, extra ticket sales booths are being set up to cope with a last minute rush after last weekend's victory over Argentina.
Tickets are available online and over the phone from Ticketmaster (08705 582582 / http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/) until 12 noon on Wednesday while personal callers can purchase tickets all week and over the weekend from the Millennium Stadium ticket shop, 98 St Mary Street, Cardiff.
On matchday, Sunday, tickets will also be available from the Cardiff Blues ticket office at Cardiff Arms Park and from a ticket booth outside the Millennium Stadium (Westgate Street) to enable fans to get to their seats with minimum fuss in time for kick-off (2.45pm).
There has been a heightened interest in tickets for Sunday's match since last Saturday's win, with more and more supporters planning to raise the roof for the Welsh team and give them a mighty send off from Wales to Rugby World Cup 2007.
The Bank Holiday Sunday international will be the last chance to watch the Welsh Rugby World Cup squad in action before they leave for France to prepare for their Rugby World Cup opener in Nantes against Canada on September 9th.
The Welsh Rugby Union has already sold around 40,000 tickets for the France game, but interest is growing with both France and Wales clashing off the back of build up match victories.
Park and Ride services will be in full swing in Cardiff on Sunday to cater for fans driving into the capital. Supporters can park their cars for £5 and catch a free bus to, and from, the city centre match venue. Park and Ride sites can be accessed from Junction 33 of the M4 – fans should follow the signage to available sites.
The car parks will have a staff presence from 9am, will open at 9:30am with the first bus leaving for the city centre at 9.30am. The last bus will leave the city centre pick-up point at 6.30pm, with car parks closing at 7pm. Coaches will be advised to use the Civic centre, Museum Avenue.
WRU Group Chief Executive Roger Lewis said: "We want as many fans as possible to roar Wales on with a big send off from the Millennium Stadium as they prepare to head off to the Rugby World Cup.
"There has been increased interest in tickets since the victory over Argentina so we are laying on an extra ticket sales booth on Sunday at the stadium to make sure everyone can get in.
"Supporters will also have the benefit of a Bank Holiday Monday to recover from the excitement of a big day out in the capital.
"We've priced the junior tickets for under 16s at £10 and £15 because we know lots of youngsters will want to take this opportunity to see a major international match in Cardiff.
"Opponents don't get much bigger than France so it will be a fantastic spectacle and a great chance for Wales to measure their progress.
"Tickets will be on sale online and over the phone from Ticketmaster until Wednesday but, subject to availability, it should also be easy for fans to turn up and buy them right through to kick off on Sunday."
