| An event organized by Tredegar Ironsides Ladies RFC in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness saw clashes between Newport and Neath Athletic U14's, RTB Ebbw Vale and Neath Athletic U17's and Tredegar Ironsides Ladies RFC and Neath Athletic RFC.
A very big thank you from all at the Ironsides to all of the clubs and volunteers who helped to raise nearly £400 on the day (with more to come from DVD sales) for this so very worthy of causes.
The skill levels and commitment shown on the day were of an extremely high standard and a fantastic advert for the Women's and Girls' game in Wales, everyone involved should be very proud of themselves; many an old gnarled head of the men's game were in total disbelief at the level at which this version of the greatest team sport in the world is played!
